  Illustration To Explain "This Generation" Change

  i just had this idea for how a speaker might illustrate the much-discussed 'overlapping generation' doctrine.. "imagine a series of lamps, placed in order from left to right.

  as you turn each of them on, what you ultimately have is a set of overlapping lights, that, when combined, form one composite light, so that even if, by some chance, one of the lights gets turned off, you still have the remaining lights which overlap with each other.

  in the same way, the current generation of anointed ones have long, faithful records of service to jehovah alongside the past generation of anointed ones who saw the events of 1914. they have served as an overlapping light of spiritual nourishment for jehovah's people in this time of the end.

  No, NO, No, here is a better illustration. Imagine you have a bunch of brothers lined up old and confused. They all are trying to figure out how to keep the first lie started, going............. The problem is, they are all old and have not produced an end of the world. Then they start to wonder inside their figurative heart, if they were scammed all along because they do not want to become sea-------------nile and die.

  during that time i repeatedly vocalized my belief that "the end is near.

  " however, what did this cost me?

  Well, I have to disagree, Most witnesses are starting to see that the end of the witnesses are near. Time is starting to get the best of the lies. I feel sorry for them. They have accumilated all the good friends on lies, and now they can't produce what they wanted. The end of mankind in general.

  Jaracz' funeral talk to be on Monday June 14

  just saw an e-mail, passed on thru numerous hands before it got to me.. actual e-mail topic was something else, but the funeral info was included way down the chain.. location was given as "brooklyn" - not more specific than that.. probably some place deep inside the bethel compound, to keep potential troublemakers away, i reckon.. one wonders what the service will be like.. he had a lot of influence, and was feared, but based on what i've read, not really loved.

  will a lot of people show up?.

  Well, the word on the street is, that Jaracz is giving his own memorial talk. However, he will be invisible and a little more loving than he was on earth.

  Oh, and a little less predjudice... Well, that may be a little too hard.

  after increased pressure from friends and family (many less than spiritual) to get back to the meetings recently, i started wondering how many of them are just plain pissed every time they're sitting in the kh thinking about you siting at home watching csi.. was just wondering about that angle.. 5th.

  Thats why they were questions, so someone like you could give insight.

  That was nice of them to let him use the symbol, while just being curious. Also, if they were his followers, why would they do that, for certainly they would have known he was not a member.
